All I want for Christmas is a Janet Jackson Barbie Doll...well for now

Janet Jackson the Barbie Doll

Well looks like another celebrity is a doll, a Barbie doll that is but for a good cause. If you want to own a piece of Janet, now is your chance. Mattel created a barbie after Miss Jackson called "Divinely Janet" to benefit Project Angel Food, a charity dedicated to helping people living with HIV/AIDS, Cancer, and other life threatening diseases. The doll is fierce I must say and was created by Mattel Designer Jackeline Gonzalez She is rocking the replica gown that she wore this year on American Idol, with the body-hugging cat-suit underneath that she revealed during her second performance. Her gown is with bling created by hand-placed Swarovski crystals. Janet's mic is even crystal-studded. What I love so much about this doll is that they really captured Janet's natural facial features and her new short hair-do. You can purchase the doll for a limited time only and it will set you back about $1,050 but it is for a good cause. The bidding has already started, time is ticking.

Nicki Minaj Pink Friday Barbie Doll

Well it looks like Nicki Minaj is officially a Barbie. A one of a kind Nicki Minaj Barbie created by Mattel, to coinside with her "Pink Friday" album will be auctioned off on Wednesday through Charity Buzz starting at $1000 until December 19th. The proceeds will go to "Project Angel Food" which provides food for HIV/AIDS women, men and children. Nicki joins Janet Jackson who was also part of this charity campaign. It was only a matter of time but no word yet if Mattel will continue an on-going partnership with Nicki because she has been promoting Barbie for the last couple of years. Nicki has never worked with the brand until now however she has done well with MAC and now OPI.
