Rihanna x Manolo Blahnik Global Collaboration Launch

With the release of Rihanna's British Vogue cover, it was announced that she is doing a shoe collaboration with Manolo Blahnik. I received the press release last night with more details on this exclusive collaboration. The shoe collection entitled Denim Desserts will go on sale May 5, 2016 across three store locations in New York, London and Hong Kong. As I previously stated, the collection features six styles and was personally designed by Manolo & Rihanna. The shoes embodies Manolo's signature design aesthetics mixed with Riri's artistic, eccentric influence. The limited edition collection will only be available for in-store purchase and will range from $895-$3995. I do have my eye on those light blue sequin pumps and denim embellished sandals. With her  wearing the designer's 'Chaos' sandals on repeat, a collaboration was inevitable. What do you think of the Rihanna x Manolo Blahnik collaboration?

Manolo Blahnik on working with Rihanna:
'This is an incredibly exciting collaboration and I am absolutely thrilled with the results – working with Rihanna has been amazing and her drive, passion, creativity and style has been reflected in the designs, with fabulous results – I think everyone is going to love what they are about to see.'

Kristina Blahnik, CEO of Manolo Blahnik:
'For Manolo Blahnik, Rihanna was a collaboration we were really excited about – we firmly believed the two of them working hand in hand together with their creativity would achieve something total unique and very special – we are really, really excited for the collection to launch.

2022 MTV VMA's

Yesterday evening(August 28th) in Newark, New Jersey, the 2022 MTV VMAs took place at the Prudential Center with LL Cool J, Nicki Minaj and Jack Harlow on-hand as the hosts.

Lizzo was on-hand as a performer and nominee. She made a dramatic entrance wearing a JEAN PAUL GAULTIER SPRING 2022 COUTURE navy off-the-shoulder, taffeta gown and she looked amazing. I just wish her jewelry had more of a sparkle to it but that doesn't negate how beautiful she looks. Also I like the addition of the sheer opera gloves.
