Jean Paul Gaultier is the Creative Director for Diet Coke

Today Diet Coke announced that designer JEAN PAUL GAULTIER  will take over as Creative Director for different projects in 2012. Diet Coke wants Gaultier to bring his talents by designing limited edition cans and bottles along with developing online content, retail concepts and ad campaigns across Europe. The campaign themed ‘Night & Day’ pays homage to many of Gaultier’s famous collections. To celebrate the launch, Gaultier is starring in three short films called “The Night & Day Serial Designer”. Each short film will feature a special guest appearance where the designer will take on different roles from a therapist to a journalist and even a private detective. The film will also bring to life each of the Diet Coke girls personality in a humorous way. The international fashion icon helps to solve an outfit dilemma for Eleanor, Bernadette and Irene – he transforms them, exclusively styling them in Gaultier following their fashion emergency. Launching on three consecutive days from today, March 8th – 10th , each episode in the series will be available on the Diet Coke YouTube channel. The first film released today(shown below) debuts Irene, who's rocker chic personality starts off in a press conference than goes back to her pass when she was a dancer. Gaultier emerges and transforms Irene back to a fashionista who is ready to rock. For more on the campaign go to www.facebook.com/DietCoke.
