Cheryl Simmons is the founder and editor of The Fashionista Stories. Prior to the launch
of The Fashionista Stories, Cheryl worked in the fashion industry in retail and
for designer Michael Kors as a Brand Manager. In between it all, Cheryl
assisted several top wardrobe stylists on fashion editorials for Spanish Vogue,
Italian Flair, Cosmopolitan and Essence magazine along with assisting on Grammy nominee Jazmin
Sullivan’s sophomore album cover.
Interning for companies like Charlotte Ronson, M.A.D. Clothing,
Jill Stuart, Blue Stripe PR, Celebrity Stylist Laura Ferrera and ELLE
Accessories magazines, gave her the experience needed to develop her career in
fashion. Cheryl also has published fashion editorials that are featured in
Future Claw, Disfunkshion, Chaos and Snytch magazines along with styling the
catalog for Me Moi Hosiery.
