Jean Paul Gaultier's Ad Campaign + Bottle Design for Diet Coke

Last month it was announced that Jean Paul Gaultier will be the Creative Director for Diet Coke and now the ad campaign and bottle designs have been released. The bottles are available in 9 European countries at select retailers with a third bottle set to be released this summer. The exclusive limited edition bottles was designed by Gaultier himself, along with the ad campaign which was shot by Stéphane Sednaoui. I just love the ad and the bottle design. Gaultier added a fun and funky twist to the bottle which to me, he stayed true to his style.

The Bottles:
Jean Paul Gaultier has combined his unique signature style and his fun light-hearted attitude to create the must-have fashion accessory of 2012. The collection themed ‘Night & Day’, pays homage to Gaultier’s infamous designs.
The, ‘Night’(above right) bottle has a sexy Rock Chick edge with a corset style reminiscent of Jean Paul Gaultier’s catwalk shows and iconic cone bra design. The provocative bottle is perfect for after dark - the lace and fishnet design highlights the female-like silhouette of the iconic bottle shape and adds a never-before-seen edginess to the Diet Coke limited edition collection.
The ‘Day’(above left) bottle is inspired by Jean Paul Gaultier’s signature Breton stripes and captures his fun attitude. The iconic nautical-themed blue and white design showcases a stylish romantic everyday look. To complete the ensemble the shiny red bottle cap acts as a chic beret, and a star tattoo pays homage to Gaultier’s sailor muse.
The exclusive ‘Tattoo’ design is inspired by Gaultier’s love of body art. Complementing the ‘Night & Day’ bottles, the ‘Tattoo’ design will be a must for fashionistas - but you’ll have to wait until later in the year to complete the collection.

The Night & Day Diet Coke Cans by Jean Paul Gaultier

Last month the third bottle in the Limited Collection for Diet Coke by Jean Paul Gaultier was released, now check out the exclusive ‘Night & Day’ cans designed by Gaultier for Diet Coke. This is the first time in the brand’s history that a design collaboration has translated onto the 330ml cans. The ‘Night’ can has a sexy rock theme that immortalises Jean Paul Gaultier’s corset and iconic cone bra design. While the ‘Day’ can is inspired by Jean Paul Gaultier’s signature Breton stripes and captures his fun attitude. I like the funky and edgy twist Gaultier added to the designs for the entire collection. He will definitely have you "drinking fashionably".
